TODAY IN HISTORY.....

Do you know some of the significant things that happened on the 16th of April some in some different years ago?

Today in History; on the 16th April 1912 American aviator Harriet Quimby became the first woman to fly across the English Channel, travelling from Dover, England to France in 59minutes. On this same day 1963 Martin Luther King Jnr wrote his "Letter from Birmingham jail" in which he said," Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere". And on this same day in 2007 Student Seung-Hui Cho killed 32 people on a shooting spree on the campus of Virginia Tech VT before taking his own life.
And if today happens to be your birthday, You celebrate with Wilbur Wright 1867 one of the Wright brothers that invented aeroplane, Joseph Aloisius Ratzinger (Pope Benedict XVI) 1927, and former Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez 1960 also Aaron Lennon...
