THE FACE OF JAYEE 2014....A BLAST OR WACK...?

Winner
1st runner-up

2nd runner-up
Face of Jayee 2014.....is the Wackest Face of Jayee ever organised in the history of the Jayee University College, with the greatest honour of respect; I will say this year’s edition was not only a National affair but was also poorly organised. The discrimination against the foreign contestants was too obvious. All the foreigners were part of the first selected evictees, I do not doubt the competency on the Judges part but I doubt the criteria the Judges used in selecting the first 5 contestants who were all Ghanaians. Right in the presence of humble students of Jayee University College, students from other great Universities like Regent Uni, Uni of GH legon, AIT Uni, AUCC, other great institutions, and Visitors from our neighbouring countries the Judges failed in letting us to see fairness. From my perspective I thought FOJ is suppose to be a global affairs base on the fact that Jayee is a modern University with students from various countries, therefore FOJ should also be a program or platform where people come to see and hear certain things which are from other cultures, not necessarily Ghanaian culture, am saying this based on what one of the Judges said to one of the foreign contestants.  If such impressions are stained in the minds of students who are not Ghanaians hmmm...I am not a prophet to prophecy, but can prophecy that FOJ will not see any foreign contestants again until that impression is cleansed off. That is even not the worst Ish, the Ish is that the organisation was very poor. From the sitting arrangement of the Judges, the so called VIP seat was not different with the regular seat Just don’t want to say much....We thank God for the MCs and DJ Poxxibe who saved the show. This is not the first FOJ I have witnessed though. But this one has caused me to appreciate the last two previous FOJ very much. Am not sure the program was even documented, no media coverage, no professional photographers, one of the contestants was even asking me for pictures.. Can you imagine ?

However, I must congratulate the organisers for introducing Awards Night to students who have or are excelling in their respective areas of studies and life, this being the first of its kind. It is a positive initiative, despite their poor performance in organising the overall show. I hope the incoming organisers learn from this and add value to the next FOJ...I want all say congratulation to the winner and to all the students that won awards. S/o to the best hostel...Lucky Hostel. Congratulation to the winner, first runner up and the second runner up. No hard feelings oohh..Just saying my mind..
